The opening two models of new Samsung Galaxy Mega series is launching to European and Russian market in May. According to the Samsung, the release date and pricing options for Galaxy Mega may differ by market and will be released gradually. The 5.8-Inch & 6.3-inch with 720p resolution display featured two Mega Smartphone models will come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean running. However, the Mega series doesn’t contain a stylus (S-Pen), which is a great feature of Galaxy Note series. Besides, Mega models are not complete tablet, as they’re featured to work with mobile networks.
Although Samsung did not disclose any particulars about the pricing for Galaxy Mega series, but the larger 6.3-inch model has been listed to retail at â¬700/$915 by a German retailer.
Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 and 6.3 will be equipped by a 1.7GHz dual-core Exynos 5250 processor, a Mali-T604 GPU, 8GB or 16GB built-in storage with microSD card slot for additional storage up to 64GB, 1.5GB of RAM, an 8-Megapixel back-facing camera and a 1.9-Megapixel front-facing camera for video conferences. Both cameras will come with some exciting features, such as Drama Shot, Sound & Shot, Rich tone and more. The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 will come with support for LTE and HSPA+, but the Galaxy Mega 5.8 will not support LTE connectivity.
The Galaxy Mega will get Samsung WatchON, which makes the phone into a remote control for your television or further devices. Samsung Link as well permits trouble-free videos, photos streaming to the television, tablet.
